Seven Leftover Monochromes

Video and sound installation for two monitors on opposite walls.              HDV16:9.  2009

A blob of paint hits the screen with a splash, totally covering it and changing its colour. In the beginning the paint is wet, and the surface is covered with small bubbles.  These disappear gradually as the colour dries.  The drying time is compressed to about three minutes, then the next splash occurs. One of the screens shows four colour changes in a sequence, the other one, three.  The videos are looped so the last colour hits the first one and the action becomes endless.
