Six channel audio installation, 3:25 minutes, looped.
A recording of a small brook is slowed down in one end, then gets faster and faster until at the other end it reaches its original pace. Then it starts slowing down again. The change is constant and very gradual. It affects the pitch of the sound, so that in the beginning it is very deep and then slowly gets higher as it speeds up.
The sound moves between 6 speakers, starting with the slowest, deepest sound on the ground floor of the exhibition space, then moving gradually through the speakers up to the 1st floor. It reaches its normal speed when it reaches the 6th speaker. Then it moves downstairs again as the sound becomes deeper and slower again.
