Photographed flowers were made into a rectangular shape and resized to fit the sliding doors of the museums’ exhibition space. The visitors could open or close the doors to reveal or hide the flowers.  In that way they could determine the appearance of the exhibition and play with the architecture of the building.  When all three doors of one of the rooms were closed the room was dominated by three large rectangular flowers. When the doors were open the room was completely empty.

The town of Hveragerdi is situated in a geothermal area, and is famous for its greenhouse production of flowers and vegetables.  Around the time of the exhibition the LÁ Museum was under pressure from the cultural committee of the town to have exhibitions that would attract the public. They pointed to the great number of visitors coming to the giant greenhouse/tourist centre next door in comparison.  The choice of flowers as a subject for the show was a playful attempt to help in that matter.
