Five channel video and audio installation, 2020

Five people tell stories from their own life while they drink coffee or tea.
The time between the sips in each video is adjusted to one minute by stretching or compressing. This affects the speed of the video and the pitch of the sound becomes too high or too low, depending on how often the storytellers take a sip. The sips take place at exactly the same time, and with every sip the speed of the stories changes.
The video is looped and it’s timing is synchronized.

The production was supported by The Danish Arts Foundation and The Icelandic Visual Arts Fund
